Frequently asked questions

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, I pride myself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to excellence.

Do you administer medication?

I am allowed to prompt and provide you with any prescribed medication you require but I cannot administer eyedrops or medication by injection.

Do you do personal care?

Through our extensive one to one initial interview, we will create a personal plan dedicated to yourself. I pride myself on ensuring your dignity, respect and personal space are at the forefront of the service I provide.

Are pets in the household an issue?

Friendly pets have never been a problem. If there is a nervous or overly protective animal in the house then they may be required to be safely secured in another room, this can be dicussed in our intial interview. I love cats.

Will you work with smokers?

Whilst on my care visit I would kindly ask that there is no smoking. Alternatively if you would like to smoke then I would ask that it is done outside whilst I am there. This is my work place after all.

Do you have personal liability insurance?

Yes I do. I have extensive cover that is active whilst I am on all personal care calls. If you wish me to provide proof I am more than willing to show you the Insurance document. I also have business insurance on the car for any pre-arranged journeys.

Do you provide a companionship service?

At your one to one interview we can discuss what service you require. I am more than willing to sit and listen to your life story, play games or help with your hobbies. I am there to care, help or listen.

What hours are you available?

This will be discussed at our one to one interview but generally I work between the hours of 09.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs. I am available for weekend work with prior arragements.

What household chores do you do?

During your one to one interview any services that you require will be discussed. I generally do any household cleaning, simple cooking and reheating of meals and any other simple tasks that you struggle to do.

Is there a contract?

During your extensive one to one interview we will discuss all the services that you require. On my first appointment you will be provided with a care plan of all the services that we have agreed to. If you are happy with the care plan then you will be provided with a copy and I will ask for you to sign the office copy. This will then be the agreement and all the services, going forward that will be provided.
